The annual Shirley Agnos Legacy Award was created in 2007 to honor Shirley's many years of service and commitment to the principles of Arizona Town Hall, with Shirley as the first recipient.
Criteria
The recipient of the Shirley Agnos Legacy Award will be an individual, company, or organization that has:
- A long and dedicated record of working to improve the State of Arizona and the lives of its citizens.
- A proven record of successfully creating consensus positions from differing points of view.
- Been an active advocate on behalf of statewide issues.
- Garnered respect and has displayed the highest integrity.
Selection Process
- Any active Town Hall member may submit a nomination for consideration.
- Click here to download the nomination form. The nomination statement is limited to 1,500 words, typed. Attachments should not be included.
- The deadline for 2008 nomination is June 2. The award will be presented at a luncheon on September 18, 2008.
