Ask those who represent you at the legislature to take specific measures to increase transparency, including 72 hours advance notice of any revisions to bills to ensure the public has sufficient opportunity to review legislation. This advance notice should be increased to seven days with respect to the state budget.
Ask those who represent you to encourage Legislative hearings and meetings to be streamed over the internet and televised to allow for greater public awareness and involvement.
